As far as I am aware, there are no Canadian military units that have the word “French” in their name. There are, however, several units, some quite famous, that do have French names. The Royal 22e Régiment, the Van Doos, has several batallions. It has the word Francais on its badge. There is also the 5e Régiment d'artillerie légère du Canada, and the 12e Régiment blindé du Canada. There are also a number of reserve units, including: Le Régiment de Hull, Le Régiment de la Chaudière, Le Régiment de Maisonneuve, Le Régiment du Saguenay, Les Fusiliers de Sherbrooke, Les Fusiliers du St-Laurent, Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal, and Les Voltigeurs de Québec. Les Fusiliers de Sherbrooke (as the 27th Armoured Regiment) and Le Régiment de la Chaudière landed on Juno beach on D-Day. Bonjour, que dire des militaires canadiens que gardent des vestiges pareilles? Citer Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
